Youth Apprenticeship Program
The Youth Apprenticeship (YA) program is a rigorous one or two-year elective program made available through the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development that combines academic and technical instruction with mentored, paid, on-the-job learning that makes real-world connections between a student’s education and vocational choices.
High School juniors and seniors from participating North Central Wisconsin School-to-Career Partnership schools and participating employers work a minimum of 450 hours each year and take related High School or college classes to enhance their worksite learning experiences.
